Reviewer and editorial process
An honest gap statement is better than a fake byline. Here is exactly how this site is reviewed today, and the clinical credentials we are commissioning for the September 2026 update.
Who reviews today
The editorial team at Digital Signet, the publisher of this site. The team has long-running experience building independent reference sites in regulated UK sectors (financial, legal, health). Every numeric claim on the site is cross-checked against the primary sources listed on the sources page before publication.
Who we are commissioning
A named clinical reviewer registered with one of:
- Social Work England. Social Work England ↗
- Nursing and Midwifery Council (community or adult nursing background). NMC ↗
- General Medical Council (GP with care of older people experience). GMC ↗
Conflict of interest declaration
We do not take referral fees from care providers. We do not sell leads. We do not list vacancies we cannot verify. We do not accept paid placements in our vendor pages. The site is funded by the parent organisation, Digital Signet, with optional context-appropriate affiliate links to independent insurance and legal advice services (clearly labelled when present).
Editorial process
- Draft prepared by editorial team using primary sources.
- Every numeric claim chip-linked to the source URL.
- Weekly source-refresh against the sources page (changes logged on last-reviewed).
- When a major source changes (e.g. CHC Framework revision), the affected pages are reviewed within 7 days.
- Once the clinical reviewer is appointed, every page is signed off.
